Answers When You Need Them
Early detection is key when it comes to treating your pet, and Brandner Veterinary Hospital offers comprehensive in-house pet diagnostics, including advanced equipment and an on-site laboratory. This saves time, money, and most importantly, you don’t have to wait overnight for results—meaning your pet gets a diagnosis and needed treatment sooner.
Revealing What Eyes Can’t See
When your pet isn’t feeling well, getting answers quickly makes all the difference. That’s why we’ve invested in comprehensive in-house diagnostic equipment—so we can run tests and get results the same day, right here in our hospital.
Blood Work & Lab Testing
We run a wide range of blood tests on-site, including pre-anesthetic screening, urinalysis, kidney and liver function panels, complete blood counts, disease-specific testing (like FeLV and FIV for cats, parvovirus for dogs), and more. Having our own lab means we can get critical information fast—no waiting days for an outside lab to send results back.
Of course, some specialized tests do need to go to external laboratories, and we’re happy to coordinate that when necessary. But for most routine and urgent diagnostics, we’ve got you covered in-house.
Imaging Technologies
Our digital X-ray system lets us see what’s happening inside your pet’s body—broken bones, swallowed foreign objects, dental issues, or soft tissue abnormalities. Digital imaging gives us clear, detailed pictures almost instantly.
We also use ultrasound to obtain real-time images of internal organs and systems. It’s especially useful for examining the heart, liver, kidneys, bladder, and gastrointestinal tract. Combined with X-rays and bloodwork, ultrasound helps us build a complete picture of what’s going on so we can diagnose accurately and treat effectively.
